The West Berlin Cemetery

Berlin, Vermont

This Cemetery is on  the east side of  Route 12 in Riverton. It was a private cemetery which is now owned by the Town of Berlin. This is a pleasant cemetery which drops off on three sides to a field and the Dog River. Along the front is a row of granite posts and connecting chain which were refurbished by members of the Berlin Historical Society with the help of John Maloney a few years ago. In contrast with the other 8 historical cemeteries in Berlin this cemetery has had some recent burial activity.
