Absentee ballots for March Town Meeting may be requested although they won’t be mailed out until sometime in February.  In fact, you can at the same time request absentee ballots for the August State Primary and November Election – just be sure to mention those also.  You can request for yourself and family members.  Call the Town Clerk 229-9298  and if leaving a message, be sure to leave your phone number in case we have a question and if you need it sent somewhere besides your regular home mailing address let us know that.  Requests can also be mailed, Berlin Town Clerk, 108 Shed Road, Berlin, VT 05602.

Another option is when the absentee ballots are available you can come in and vote at the Town Clerk’s office or take the ballot home with you.  Ballots for family members must be mailed.  All ballots must be received back before polls close at 7pm on March 6th.

Absentee ballot requests can also be made through email: berlintownclerk@berlinvt.org*

Due to the recent extreme cold temperatures, the 1st Saturday Community Potluck at the Capital City Grange was rescheduled to Saturday, January 20th 6pm.  This is free and open to the public.  Bring a dish to share or a loaf of bread, or a beverage and note that vintage dishware is provided.  The grange is at 6612 VT Route 12 here in Berlin.  *

The next Resource Line update will be Friday, January 19th
