Did you read in the Times Argus that the Berlin Mall is offering the Town of Berlin an empty store front to use rent-free for two years for one or more of the town departments? This is about the Town meeting requirements for the Downtown Designation as work continues on a Town Center. There could be expenses involved in preparing the storefront and of course for utilities and in the long term either rent or the cost of putting up a building. It was in the paper July 20th. To date the taxpayers have not voted to move the Town offices and it doesn’t seem these expenses are part of the town budget. Please share your thoughts.
*Monday, July 26th 9am – 12noon, all Vermont Town Clerks have been informed that they will be unable to access birth & death records while a state server is upgraded. Sorry for the inconvenience.

*Wednesday, July 28th, 7pm Planning Commission meets at the Town offices.
