The Town values and appreciates its many volunteers.  Current vacancies on Town Boards, Committees, and Commissions include: Cemetery Commission, Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission, Central Vermont Solid Waste Management, Conservation Commission / Recreation, Development Review Board, Fire Department Liaison, and Sewer Commission.  A posting can be found at the Town office and for more information contact Town Administrator, Dana Hadley at 552-8801

The Sewer Commission meets Monday, March 27th at 7pm at the Town office.*

The Berlin School Board will have a public forum at U-32 High School in Room 120 on Wednesday, March 29th 5:30pm (note this is a change of time) to hear from voters regarding the school budget that was defeated.  They welcome phone calls, letters or emails with feedback and there are comment/ suggestion boxes in the school lobby and at the town office.  *

Also March 29th the WCSU Full Board meets 6pm in the U-32 cafeteria to discuss Act 46 next steps.*

Dogs must be licensed by April 1st – the fee is $9 for spayed or neutered dogs and $13 for those not.*

Good Beginnings Baby & Child Expo will be April 1st 9am – 1pm at the Berlin Elementary School gym.  Admission adults $8, but no charge for children.   Details at: www.gbcvexpo.com*

High School sports are in need of officials for their various sports.  There is a recruitment event at the UVM Patrick Gym on Saturday, April 1st 10am – 1pm when you’ll have the opportunity to meet with representatives of the various officials associations.*

April 3rd The Selectboard meets 7pm at the Town office*

April 4th the Development Review Board meets 7pm at the Town office.*

April 6th 4-5pm is the Anne Burke Community (ABC) Garden meeting at Berlin Elementary School.

April 6th 6:30-8:30pm the Parent Teacher Neighbor Association (PTNA) will meet at Berlin Elementary.*

Saturday, April 8th is the Vermont State Scholastic Chess Championship here in Berlin.*
