The Town Report is now available at the Town Offices and will be sent home to families with students at Berlin Elementary School.*

The Town offices will be closed on Monday, February 20th.*

The Development Review Board meets Tuesday, February 21st 7pm at the Town office.*

The Selectboard meets Wednesday, February 22nd 7pm at the Town office (this is a change from their regular Monday nights.*

Also on February 22nd, the Planning Commission meets 6:30pm at the Town office.*

Dogs in Vermont must be licensed on or before April 1st.  The fee is $9 for spayed / neutered dogs and $11 for unsprayed / neutered.  Please make sure we have a current rabies vaccination for your animal and if the first time registering them in town, a spay / neuter certification is needed if they have been.*

Mark your calendars for pre-town meeting Monday, March 6th at 6pm at Berlin Elementary School.  Some of the agencies requesting funds will be at this meeting to say a few words about their organization and answer any questions.  Town Meeting is Tuesday, March 7th 10am at Berlin Elementary.  Australian Ballot voting will be 10am – 7pm.  The Berlin Volunteer Fire Dept. and Ladies Auxiliary will have lunch available.

Absentee ballots are now available.*

Over at the Central Vermont Medical Center, Berlin resident Linda Mirabile has some beautiful artwork on display.  Her avian inspired art will be there through the end of March.  She is the same artist who painted the common loon and white-tailed deer for the Vermont conservation license plates

The next Washington Central Supervisory meetings regarding Act 46 are Wednesday, February 15th &  Thursday, February 16th, 6pm at U-32 in Room 128

The next quarterly tax payment on Berlin properties is due on Thursday, February 16th.  To meet this deadline, payment should be brought to the Treasurer no later than 4:30pm on February 16th or left in the deposit box outside the front door.  Payments can also be postmarked by February 16th.  Payments not made will incur a late fee of 8% penalty and 1% interest.  Payment may also be made by credit card.  If unable to make the entire payment, consider a partial payment to help lessen the late fees.  Call to discuss this option with the Treasurer – 223-4405.*
