Friday, September 13th – Red Barn Hayloft will be playing at Fresh Tracks Winery, 4373 VT Rte 12. Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the music. Food available starting at 5pm, event goes until 8pm.
*Saturday, September 14th – the Progressive caucus will take place at 5pm at the Town office.
*Tuesday September 17th the Berlin Republican Party will meet at 5:30pm at the Town office and also that night at 7pm the Development Review Board will meet.
*Wednesday, September 18th the Washington Central UUSD Board meets 6:30pm at Doty Memorial School in Worcester. Their 1st Wednesday of the month meetings are at U-32 and the 3rd Wednesday of the month meetings rotate around the elementary schools.
*Thursday, September 19th is the Berlin Elem. School Open House at 6pm and at 7pm the Selectboard will meet at the Town office.
*Saturday, September 21st the monthly Community Potluck dinner at the grange is at 6pm, (note usually it’s the first Saturday of the month this is an exception) 6612 VT Rte 12.
*Monday, September 23rd the Public Works Board meets 7pm at the Town office.
*Tuesday, September 24th the Berlin Democratic Committee will meet 6pm at the Town office.
*Wednesday, September 25th the Planning Commission meets 7pm at the Town office.
*The Kellogg-Hubbard Library is in the midst of a fabulous book sale, it’s downstairs at the library 10am Monday-Saturday with closing times varying. They’ll also be holding a Story Time at the Berlin Mall every 1st Saturday starting October 5th at 11am https://www.kellogghubbard.org
*The Annual Chicken Pie Supper at the First Congregational Church is October 5th, call to reserve seats as they always sell out. 4:30pm & 6:30pm seatings, adults $10, ages 7-12 $5, and ages 6 and under free. Call 229-9504.
*Gordon Belsher & Richard Wood from Prince Edward Island will have a Benefit Concert at the Barre Elks Club Sunday, October 13th for the First Congregational Church of Berlin. This special performance of fiddle and guitar music will be from 3-5pm, tickets $15 adults, $10 under 12 years old. Call 229-9504 for advance tickets or buy them at the door.
*Pick Your Own Potatoes behind the digger in Williamstown will take place this year on Sunday, Oct 6th.
*Berlin Elementary School is planning a fall festival for October 12th.
