Landowners Guide to River Land Management  Land Owner Stewardship Guides Now Available

Land owners were seeking information on how to be better stewards of the river that lies in their backyards. However, information is scattered amongst many state and federal organizations. Friends of the Winooski partnered with Winooski River Conservation District to organize all the disparate pieces of information into a single guide that's free and available to property owners living along the Winooski and its tributaries.

In addition to techniques such as reducing the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers, the guide also contains information on financial resources available to property owners who want to improve the health of the river in their backyard.
